Swandiri was founded in 2011 as a research and consulting institution in Pontianak, West Kalimantan, with the aim of promoting a sustainable environment. Swandiri is heavily involved in advocating spatial policies as well as conflict mediation and initiating the use of drones to promote spatial justice in West Kalimantan.

As a research and consulting institution, Swandiri is experienced in conducting financial, spatial, and campaign analysis.
